The project began with a full demolition of the existing kitchen cabinets, countertops, sink, faucet, flooring, lighting, and backsplash. DreamLine then rebuilt the space from the ground up, installing new custom cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, four LED can lights, two elegant pendant lights, and two new windows to enhance natural light and openness.
Every phase of the remodel was carefully managed to ensure both beauty and performance, resulting in a kitchen designed to function seamlessly for everyday living.
Custom Cabinetry with Refined Contrast
At the heart of the design is DreamLine’s Custom Cabinetry Paint Finish System, which combines two complementary tones for depth and character. The perimeter cabinetry was finished in White Dove, a timeless painted white that brings clarity and brightness to the room.
The island and select accent cabinetry were finished in Alder Carbon stain, introducing warmth and rich wood texture. Both finishes were crafted in the Shaker Artesia door style, allowing the painted and stained elements to feel cohesive while creating subtle contrast.

The countertops were upgraded to Ostara Dawn 2CM quartz from Vadara, a sophisticated surface with soft veining that complements both the crisp white cabinetry and the deep Alder Carbon tones. Its polished finish adds refinement while offering durability suited for everyday use.
Underfoot, the kitchen is grounded with RIVA TIERRA engineered hardwood flooring, featuring an 8-inch width, 5/8-inch thickness, and Character grade in the color Cielo. The natural variation in the wood adds authenticity and warmth, tying the cabinetry and countertops together seamlessly.

The finishing details elevate the design even further. The backsplash—Gems Caraibi 5×10 tile from MSI—introduces subtle texture and color, adding personality without overwhelming the overall palette.
Cabinetry was fitted with BP790128900 and BP872634900 pulls, bringing sleek metallic accents to the clean lines of the Shaker doors. A Kraus KPF-1680ORB faucet pairs beautifully with the Karran QAWS-740-WH sink, creating a functional workstation that is as stylish as it is practical.
