Kitchen & flooring Remodel, Fair Oaks, CA
In the quiet elegance of Fair Oaks, Sacramento, CA, a kitchen transformation infused new life into a home by blending fresh color palettes, refined materials, and a sense of balance that defines timeless design. Completed in March, this kitchen and flooring project by DreamLine Custom Cabinetry brought together painted wood finishes, polished stone, and warm wood tones—delivering a space that is both inviting and expertly crafted.
At the heart of the project was the cabinetry, constructed using the DreamLine SEGUE Painted Wood Veneer System, a line known for its crisp painted finishes and modern craftsmanship. The main kitchen cabinets were finished in Blanco, a clean, bright white that reflects natural light beautifully and instantly opened up the space. For the island, desk, and linen cabinetry, a contrasting Cape-May Cobblestone grey finish was chosen, introducing a grounding tone that added depth and definition. The pairing of these finishes created a modern two-tone aesthetic, unified by the classic Shaker door style, which lent structure and elegance to the entire design.
Topping the cabinetry was Amaranta 2CM polished quartz from Vadara, a surface known for its soft veining and luxurious texture. The subtle marbling of the countertops added movement and visual interest while maintaining a neutral sophistication that paired seamlessly with the cabinet colors. This choice enhanced the kitchen’s light, contemporary atmosphere without overpowering the design.
Underfoot, the team installed Riva Cielo engineered hardwood, bringing warmth and natural texture to the space. The flooring’s soft, muted grain balanced the cool cabinetry tones and created a cohesive flow throughout the kitchen and adjoining areas.
Fixtures and hardware were carefully selected to complete the look with both style and function. A Kraus KHU100-32 undermount sink and Kraus KPF-2620-FF-100SFS faucet provided sleek, durable performance, while P-1068H.SS pulls from MacMurray Pacific introduced a refined metallic accent that tied the cabinetry and appliances together.
This beautifully coordinated project was led by a dedicated team. Designer Michael Fl guided the overall vision with a keen sense of composition and proportion, ensuring the finishes and layout worked in harmony. Project Manager Vitaliy L oversaw the execution with the confidence and precision that defines DreamLine’s reputation, while Project Coordinator Innesa G ensured each phase ran smoothly and on schedule.
The final result was nothing short of outstanding. The clients experienced an amazing transformation, watching their kitchen and flooring evolve into a space that feels both elevated and deeply personal. The blend of white and grey cabinetry, polished stone surfaces, and engineered hardwood created a warm, contemporary kitchen that will serve as the home’s heart for years to come.
